Cali, Blue, and Tico
Cow Dogs

These here are the ranch dogs. Been around since they were pups. One of the wranglers found Cali wanderin' in the hills when she was just a youngster. She rides out with the boys an' kin go all day long. If she gits too tired, she'll hop up onto the saddle and hitch a ride for a while. Blue 'n Tico are brothers and they're workin' dogs. Blue don't like uninvited visitors and'll go after 'em like he's gonna tear off a leg. But, if he's introduced proper, he'll jes' lick ya to death! Tico thinks he's supposed to work the horses in the round pen. One of 'em didn't agree and kicked him with her hind foot. Knocked him across the pen and he spent a few days down at the vets' bein' sewed up.
