Jasper's a big guy. I mean a really. . . BIG . . . guy. Weighs in 'bout one-third the weight of the horses he shoes! Now, Jasper's pretty quick at makin' shoes fer horses an' keepin' em from goin' lame on us an' all, but he also makes pretty keen stuff outta old shoes he takes offa the horses Like hat racks, tack racks, lamps  . . . an' you name it!

When Jasper goes into town on Saturday nites, he heads directly for the Broken Spur where they have a real live band and dancin'. Now, try to picture this 300-plus pound behemoth doin' line dancin'. He does! An' the women love him!  Jasper don't have a wife an' says he's single 'cause he usually takes a shine to skinny, little gals and he don't want ta squish 'em if . . . ya know . . . they git in a lovin' mood!  Jasper's truly a thoughtful kinda guy.
